Can I use OPAL to rename a dataset?

No, the OPAL language shapes data, but does not allow renaming a dataset.

To rename a dataset, click the title in the dataset edit page and type in the new name.

If the dataset was created in terraform, you need to make the change in the terraform.

If the dataset comes from an installed app, you cannot rename it, but you can create a derived dataset with whatever name you want.

To delete a dataset, open up the dataset edit page, and choose “Delete” from the actions menu in the top right corner.

You cannot delete datasets that were installed by an app, instead uninstall the app.

To create a dataset, build the shape of data you want in a worksheet, and then click the “publish dataset” button, and give the new dataset a name.
