Private preview feature (Invite only)

This feature is enabled per tenant by Observe and is not generally available. To participate, contact your Observe representative. You may access and use this preview feature solely for internal evaluation purposes. Previews are provided as-is. Your use of this preview is subject to the Snowflake Preview Terms located at https://www.snowflake.com/en/legal.

New dashboards are created in draft mode and are Unlisted, meaning that the new dashboard won't appear in any other user's search results. You must change the dashboard's visibility to Listed in order for other users to be able to find the dashboard.

📘

Note

A dashboard's visibility is not related to access control. An unlisted dashboard can still be accessed by any user who has the link and the appropriate RBAC permissions to view it.

Configure visibility settings for your dashboard

The way to make your dashboard's visibility Listed and available for other users to find depends on if you are viewing or editing the dashboard:

  • If you are editing the dashboard, click Mark as listed:
  • If you are viewing the dashboard, click the vertical ellipsis icon () and select Mark as listed:

To change a dashboard from listed to unlisted, click the vertical ellipsis icon () and select Mark as unlisted. This is the same whether you are viewing or editing the dashboard.

View visibility settings in the Dashboard Explorer

Visibility settings for each dashboard are listed in the Visibility column in the Dashboard Explorer:

Use the Only my dashboards and Hide unlisted dashboards toggles to filter the dashboards you see in the Dashboard Explorer. See Dashboard Explorer for more information.
